Oasis is a behavioral health agency providing an array of professional counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups with a variety of needs.
Our goal is to be an “oasis” of care in this community by offering quality, compassionate mental health therapy, psychological evaluations, medication management, substance abuse treatment, in-home family support and peer support, while also aiding the community in accessing these services by removing barriers: affordability, availability and acceptability (stigma).
Additionally, we're a faith-based organization and turn no one away because they lack the ability to pay. Thanks to grants and donations, we're able to reduce fees all the way down to $0 for people with little to no income. Oasis Counseling helps anyone who is hurting and in need of mental health services.
- We serve approximately 80 clients daily -- upwards of 400 appointments weekly.
- No one is turned away due to an inablility to pay.
- This year marks our 35th anniversary of serving the Norfolk community!
